Emission research
Overview:
It is well known that the pollution impact can be determined by
the analysis of emissions and data thus obtained allow the observance
of (legal) limit values. Not only obvious emissions, such as from
industrial plants, also 'inner' emissions like smells, plastic and
lacquer vapors of vehicles can be examined.
At the same time emission analysis is used regularly as an instrument
of process optimization: For instance the composition of the emissions
enables optimizing the flow during combustion processes, which can
be improved in consequence.
Thus it is possible to discover the optimal filling of an incineration
plant in order to increase the efficiency of engines or to optimize
steel smelters.
